Privacy policy

VitaliTrack collects no personal data: your health data stays on your iPhone.

In a nutshell

  • We do not collect any personal data
  • Your entries and health data are stored on your iPhone only
  • No data is ever sent to a server, to the developer, or to any third party
  • No account is required to use the app
  • The app contains no advertising and no analytics

Where is your data stored?

VitaliTrack is a fully offline application. Your fatigue levels, emotional state, cognitive events, comments, the measurements read from the Health app and your settings are saved exclusively in the app's private storage area on your iPhone. This information never leaves your device: the app connects to no server, and the developer has no technical means of accessing its content.

If you have enabled iPhone backups (iCloud or a local computer backup), the app's data may be included in that backup, like the data of your other apps. Such backups belong to your Apple account and your own settings; they are managed by Apple and are outside the developer's control.

Deleting the app permanently removes the data it contains.

Health data (HealthKit)

With your explicit permission, VitaliTrack reads six types of data from Apple's Health app: step count, walking distance, active energy, exercise minutes, stand hours and sleep data. These measurements are used solely to display your daily tracking and to compute your scores within the app.

This data is read, never written: the app neither adds nor modifies anything in the Health app. It is copied into the current day's entry, on your device, and is never transmitted, shared, used for advertising or marketing purposes, or sold, in accordance with Apple's HealthKit requirements.

You can grant or revoke this permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → VitaliTrack. If you decline, the app remains usable: only the cards fed by the Health app stay empty.

Notifications

If you enable the daily reminder, it is scheduled locally by iOS on your device. No notification is sent from a remote server.

Medical disclaimer

VitaliTrack is a personal tracking tool meant to help you describe your daily life, in particular when talking to a healthcare professional. It is not a medical device: it provides no diagnosis, no treatment and no medical advice, and does not replace the opinion of a healthcare professional.
